My favorite childhood memory are the lazy dog days of summer swimming
in the lake.We were a big family and us children would never miss an opportunity
to swim in the lake that we grew up on the shores of.At night we would build a big
bonfire and roast corn over it.Those days were priceless!

going on road trips with my family ,we would go visit my grandma for the day or we would just drive and we would have a picnic in the car , it was always so much fun ,brings back so many memories just thinking about it now

I loved it when my parents took 2 weeks off work every year to backpack into Desolation Valley. I hated the hiking but loved the isolation and beauty of pristine lakes and streams. We did that until I turned 13 and they devorced. I will always miss those trips…
